Dr. Gopi Aniyathodiyil is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and an expert in complex coronary angioplasties, endovascular stenting for aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection, and peripheral vascular interventions. Dr. Gopi trains postgraduate students (DNB Cardiology) at Fortis Hospital, Bangalore and has also been a faculty member at various national and international conferences including Singapore Live and the National Interventional Meet. In a career spanning 16 years, Dr. Gopi has performed over 12,000 diagnostic catheterisation procedures and around 2,500 interventional procedures. He was also part of the team that performed the first successful Heart Failure Device Implantation in Karnataka and the first Combo (HFD + ICD) Device in South India.
