He has performed over 8000 diagnostic catheterizations & over 2500 interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory. He routinely performs diagnostic coronary, peripheral, cerebral & congenital catheterizations. He specializes in all types of Coronary Angioplasties including Primary & Complex coronary interventions like Bifurcations, Total occlusions, Graft Angioplasties etc. His area of special interest is in Central peripheral interventions like Aortic Stent Grafting for both Thoracic & Abdominal aorta for Dissections & Aneurysms. Dr. Venkatesh also performs peripheral interventions including Carotid, Renal, Subclavian, Pulmonary, Innominate, Iliac & Femoral artery angioplasty & Stenting.
